Coco Card
Coco Card gives independent cafés, salons and shops the repeat-visit tools the chains have, without an app to install, without commission and without handing over their customer list. Customers keep one card for every place they love; each business runs its own programme, brand and rewards.

The brief
Loyalty has to work at the counter in seconds, for a customer who has never heard of the product, on whatever phone they own. Behind the counter, a business owner with no technical help has to set up a programme, print a QR code and train staff in an afternoon. And all of it has to be one engine, not a separate app per business.
What we built
- Product strategy
- Brand & UI design
- Web apps (PWA)
- Flutter app
- Firebase backend
- Marketing site
- QA automation
- 01Guest-first join: scan the shop's QR code and you are a member. No download, no password, no registration wall. Email verification upgrades the account later.
- 02Per-business branded wallet passes for Apple and Google Wallet, each carrying its own QR, so the card a customer carries looks like the café, not like us.
- 03A rotating till QR and a staff till flow that records a visit or redeems a reward in one tap. Because the code keeps changing, a photo of it is no use for long.
- 04A multi-tenant back office: programmes, offers, card design, staff, print materials, customer insights, campaigns and automations, with contacts, rota and invoicing growing alongside it.
- 05In-app six-digit code sign-in so the installed web app never gets stuck behind an email link that opens in the wrong browser.
- 06Separate dev and prod Firebase projects in London, Playwright end-to-end tests that drive the customer, staff and business apps together, and a deploy recipe that is written down.
