Spark & Sprout · Privacy notice
Spark & Sprout:your privacy.
Who is responsible
Spark & Sprout is made and published by AadhiPixels Ltd (AadhiPixels), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16230492. This notice covers the Spark & Sprout app on iPhone, iPad and Android. Questions about this notice or your information: contact@aadhipixels.com.
The short version
- There is no account to create. Your progress and settings are saved on your device.
- The free version shows ads from Unity LevelPlay and its ad networks.
- Google Analytics for Firebase tells us how the game is played and when it crashes.
- Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details.
- In the UK, EU and Switzerland nothing is used for personalised ads or analytics until you choose. You can change your mind at any time in the game’s Settings.
- Players under 13 get no personalised ads, no tracking and no analytics.
What stays on your device
Your progress, settings, purchase records and privacy choices are saved on your device. The game has no cloud save of its own, so none of that is sent to us. Your phone’s own backup may include the app’s data, depending on your device settings. Uninstalling the game removes what it saved.
Ads
The free version shows ads: short videos you can choose to watch for a reward, and occasional full-screen ads between rounds. Ads are served by Unity LevelPlay, which works with ad networks including Unity Ads and ironSource Ads. To show and measure ads, these partners receive information from your device: your advertising identifier (only where your device settings and your choices allow it), your IP address and the approximate location it gives, device and app details, and what happened to each ad (shown, watched, tapped). We do not receive your name, contacts, photos or precise location.
Ads are personalised only if you allow it. On iPhone and iPad the game asks for permission to track first, and you can say no. Buying the no-ads option (or a pack that includes it) turns interstitial ads off for good. Players who tell the game they are under 13 only ever see non-personalised ads: the advertising identifier is not used and every ad request is marked as child-directed.
How the game is played (analytics)
To learn which levels are too hard and what to fix, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. They record an identifier for your installation of the game, gameplay events (levels started and finished, items used, rewards earned, ads watched, purchases made), your device model, operating-system version and country, and crash and performance reports. This is never combined with your name or email, because the game never has them. Where UK, EU or Swiss law applies, analytics and crash reporting start only after you agree; collection is switched off when the game first opens and switched on only once allowed. For players under 13 it stays off.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. They take your payment, and we never see your card details or store password. To deliver and restore what you bought, the game receives confirmation of the purchase, and Unity’s in-app purchasing service processes the product and transaction identifiers that go with it. Restoring purchases on a new device asks your store account what you own.
Your choices
- In the game. The Privacy option in the game’s Settings lets you change your answers about analytics and personalised ads at any time.
- UK, EU and Switzerland. The game asks before it uses analytics or personalised ads, and Accept and Reject are equally easy. You can withdraw consent from the same Privacy option.
- iPhone and iPad. You can refuse tracking when the system asks, or change it later in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
- Android. Settings, then Google (or Privacy), then Ads lets you reset or delete your advertising ID.
- California and other US states. Turning off personalised ads in the game opts you out of the sale or sharing of your information for advertising.
Children
Spark & Sprout is for players of all ages. When it first starts it asks your age in a neutral way. Until then, and for anyone under 13, the game turns off personalised ads, tracking and analytics. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for advertising.
Why we may use your information
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on your consent for analytics and personalised ads, on our contract with you to deliver something you buy, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the game working, secure and free from fraud. You can withdraw consent at any time; that does not affect what happened before.
How long we keep it
Analytics events are kept for no more than 14 months and then deleted automatically. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. Ad partners keep the information they receive under their own policies. Uninstalling the game removes everything it saved on your device.
Who else is involved
Unity Technologies (ads, purchases), Google (Firebase analytics and crash reports), Apple and Google for the stores. They may process information outside the UK, including in the United States, under their own safeguards. Their notices: Unity, Firebase, Apple and Google.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Email contact@aadhipixels.com and name the game. Because the game has no accounts, we may need a few details from your device to find the right data; we will tell you exactly what to send. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). For how this website handles information, see the website privacy notice.
Changes
If the game starts using information in a new way, we will update this page first and change the date at the top. For significant changes the game will ask for your choices again.
